Spam Filtering

Ardisio email includes enterprise-grade spam filtering powered by SpamAssassin.

How It Works

Every incoming email is scored based on hundreds of rules. Emails scoring above the threshold are marked as spam and moved to your Junk folder.

Adjusting Sensitivity

1. Go to Email → Spam Filters in your dashboard
2. Adjust the spam score threshold:
   • 5 (default) - Balanced filtering
   • 3 - Aggressive (catches more spam, may have false positives)
   • 8 - Lenient (fewer false positives, may miss some spam)

Whitelisting and Blacklisting

• Whitelist - Add trusted sender addresses or domains that should never be marked as spam
• Blacklist - Block specific addresses or domains permanently

Best Practices

• Check your Junk folder periodically for false positives
• Never publish your email address in plain text on websites
• Use contact forms (like our quote form) instead of mailto links
• Set up DKIM and DMARC records to improve deliverability
